As duties at work and waiting on the Lord seems to grow exponentially we can sometimes get discouraged.

When in the presence of working with non-believers and being accused falsely, I was able to fall on my knees and go to my Lord and Savior.

The Lord took me to Psalms 105. It seemed to give me the answer to my long wait. The feeling of being in limbo while surrounded by those who mock God.

We were trying to sell a piece of property that had been ready to close for over six months. While every week we were getting held up expecting to close only to be pushed off. We were amazed at the excuses and yet they had already released the earnest money so who would do that if they weren’t serious buyers?

In the meantime, my son and daughter-in-law moved to the area we were going to move to, and we were here just waiting on the Lord, not knowing if it would even happen or if he had other plans. When I asked if we were supposed to move, the answer was clear. But no other indications seemed clear. By faith, we trust this is God’s will, and wait while all the events are being held back.

In the meantime, I felt a loss with my own business as I gave my patients to be seen by another who was anxious to take my place.

We stayed behind upstairs in our condo just waiting to close without full privacy as it is open with the stairs.

Then God sent me modules to complete that began to take me into a real busy time to renew my certification. Then I decided to see patients again.

We had set up a number for the new therapist to achieve to just break even with the business. It was not being achieved for three months now even getting less and less and less not gaining.

When I gently reminded her of the duty, she was defensive and began looking for reasons why I was to blame.

Finally, she came and blamed me for not being fair. So we canceled all her allocations and found I was being more than fair and she backed down.

Yesterday I read psalms 150. Here’s what the Lord showed me: “Give thanks for the Lord’s hand is guiding me. We are to remember His marvelous works as he has remembered His covenant with us forever! He made a covenant with Abraham, His law and carried that covenant down through the ages. He allowed Joseph to be a slave, then a prisoner in chains and fetters, and then made him ruler and Lord of the whole house of Pharisees. Then He allowed the enemy to have his people so his people could get out of that strange land to the land they were promised. He sent plagues on their enemies and allowed the enemy to see they were strangers and more powerful because they trusted in God.”

God delivered them, and they finally gave them the lands of the father and they inherited the labor of the people‘s land. All this so they might keep his 10 Commandments and be a light to the world.

Yesterday after having read this and praying God gave me courage to share our plans to close down the business if we weren’t meeting our plans by the time of our land closing.

My unbelieving friend said the most profound thing, the very thing God had shown me in psalms 150 and through prayer and she wanted to know how I could come back to work and in week, and have as many clients as she had?

This impacted me deeply. The Lord was going to show His strength through me in the presence of a non-believer.

I told her it was only because of my relationship with my God and that I present my case before Him daily and He sends me whom He needs me to see.

This is my calling to share Jesus with everyone I meet and at least look for an opening in a heart that is his will

That conversation ended well and she was inspired to do more to work toward the mark, but with the awareness we had to make it work.

God is so good and I give all the glory to Him because He helps me keep His law not on my own, but His Holy Spirit working through me.

Praise my Lord and Savior
